It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Dr. Bertha Maxwell Roddey, a true trailblazer and an icon in our community. As the 20th National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she embodied strength, grace, and unwavering dedication to her principles. Hailing from the South Atlantic Region, Dr. Roddey's legacy will forever resonate within our hearts and minds.
Her tireless efforts and remarkable contributions have left an indelible mark not only on our community but also on a global scale. Dr. Roddey's pioneering spirit and commitment to service have inspired countless individuals to reach for the stars and break barriers.
Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit and impact will continue to guide and inspire us for generations to come. Soror Roddey will be sorely missed, but her legacy will forever shine as a beacon of hope and inspiration. Our deepest condolences go out to her loved ones and all who were touched by her extraordinary presence. May she rest in eternal peace.

The South Atlantic Region of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. consists of chapters in Bermuda, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Each state is led by a State Coordinator and State Facilitator who assist chapters in implementing the sorority's
5 Point Programmatic Thrust.

Collegiate Connection is the fuel that drives our collegiate collaboration and relationships!
Our collegiate chapters are providing innovative and exciting programs on their campuses and in the communities.
The South Atlantic Region consists of 44 collegiate chapters with over 500 undergraduate members.
